Books
This
list of books is getting quite long so I've divided it up into topics.
These are all books I have read and thought were worth reading. I am
not bothering to review books that I thought were a waste of time. I
have bought the majority of these books from Amazon
UK who do a good service for people here in England.
End
of the World
A
Guide to the End of the World, Bill McGuire, Oxford
This is a modern scientific review of natural disasters that do occur
and that can cause global death and destruction.
The
Final Warning, Kathleen Keating, Piccasso Publications
The author is a Catholic and an American and the book is written from
that viewpoint - but there is a lot of interesting material within this
book including suspect activities in the Vatican.
The
Mars Mystery, Graham Hancock, Bauval and Grigsby, Penguin Books
This is the most relevant of Hancock's books to the End Days. Although
partly about the 'face on Mars' it is mainly about the effects of large
impacts from space. There is a good review of known space objects that
might threaten the earth, and where the unknown ones might be.
Books
about the Prehistory era
From
Atlantis to the Sphinx, Colin Wilson, Virgin Books
Mainly a review of the other literature, much of which is on this list,
and worth reading for a general overview of the new information that
is now being found out about the ancient civilizations.
The
12th Planet, Zecharia Sitchin, Avon Books
I neglected to read this for many years because I thought it was just
about the planet X theory, but it is much more than that. The first
200 pages say nothing about the planet but there is wonderful detail
about the land of Sumer and the writing they left on thousands of clay
tablets. Sumer means the 'land of the Watchers' in the Sumarian language,
in Genesis it is referred to as Shinar. The book is good on evidence
but some of the theories go too far - his extraterrestrial hypothesis
is not based on the evidence - in my opinion.
Thoth
Architect of the Universe, Ralph Ellis, EDFU Books
This is well worth reading. A detailed mathematical study of Stonehenge
and Avebury that reveals a convincing date of 11,600 BC for their construction
and also for the Giza pyramids. It also answered for me of the mystery
of the 7 mountains at the place where Enoch visited the Watchers, the
mountains are now the South Sandwich Islands.
The
Giza Power Plant, Christopher Dunn, Bear and Co.
This book is only just out, written by an engineer, and you really must
read it if you are at all interested in the pyramids.
Underworld,
Graham Hancock, Penguin Books.
A big book, full of interesting detail from all over the world, tracing
a forgotten ice-age civilization that is now lost under the sea.
Fingerprints
of the Gods, Graham Hancock, Mandarin
Evidence for an ancient advanced culture in South America, Egypt and
India.
Heavens
Mirror, Graham Hancock, Penguin
This is a very interesting book, I expected it to be just a glossy byproduct
of the TV series but it is much better than that. The book goes right
round the world looking in detail at the ancient sites and regions.
When
the Sky Fell, Rand and Rose Flem-Ath, Orion Books
This book is about the end of the ice age and the legend of Atlantis.
Interesting and possible theory of Antarctic site for Atlantis and moving
poles.
The
Path of the Pole, Charles Hapgood, Souvenir Press.
This book is a few years old now but still in print because it is an
important book. It presents convincing evidence of rapid movements of
the crust relative to the interior of the Earth occurring every 10,000
to 30,000 years.
Maps
of the Ancient Sea Kings, Charles Hapgood, Adventures Unlimited
Press
This is a very interesting book - see how Antarctica and Greenland looked
without ice and also how England looked with an ice-sheet on it.
Atlantis
The Andes Solution, J. M. Allen, The Windrush Press.
This book makes a convincing case for Atlantis being in South America
and the full Plato text is here too.
Geneset
Target Earth, David Wood & Ian Campbell, Bellevue Books.
This book is very interesting about the amazing geometry of sites around
Rennes-le-Chateau in France but less convincing about the reasons it
was done.
The
Mayan Prophecies, Adrian
G. Gilbert and Maurice M. Cotterell, Element Books.
A lot of
interesting details about the Maya and South America in ancient times.
Ancient
Traces, Michael Baigent, Penguin,
The first few chapters are not so good but the sections on ice-ages,
Atlantis, Egypt, alchemy and reincarnation are interesting.
The
Sirius Mystery, Robert Temple, Arrow
The Dogon tribe of Africa have accurate knowledge of the details of
the Sirius star system - some of it only confirmed recently with the
latest technology. This book is just out in a new edition and is full
of interesting detail.
The
Crystal Sun, Robert Temple, Century,
A review of ancient optics and crystal lenses. Not much to do with end
days, but an interesting review of Greek and Roman texts about ancient
knowledge.
Book
of Enoch
The
Ethiopic Book of Enoch, M.
A. Knibb, Oxford University Press.
This is the
best translation. There are many footnotes on the details of the translation
and detailed comparisons of the various known manuscripts and fragments
of the book. No longer in print but some University Libraries have it.
The
Book of Enoch, R. H.Charles, SPCK,
A 100 year old translation that is the most available version in English.
The
Book of Enoch the Prophet, Richard Laurence, Wizards Bookshelf,
Even older than the Charles translation.
Fallen
Angels and the Origins of Evil, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, Summit
University Press,
A good review of all Enoch material including the complete Laurence
text, and some other Enoch texts, and links with the Bible.
From
the Ashes of Angels, Andrew
Collins, Michael Joseph
This is a
well-researched book into the background of the Watchers.
Uriel's
Machine, Knight and Lomas, Arrow,
This book has a good interpretation of Enoch's astronomy chapters but
is also interesting in many other areas including the Druid's in Ireland
and Scotland and their links with Egypt. Also: impacts from space and
flood legends.
Mahabharata,
Krishna Dharma, Torchlight Publishing
An Indian religious epic, that is very old, and that may be based on
the story of the families of some of the rebel Watchers during the times
between Enoch and Noah. There are some very interesting
descriptions of warfare involving advanced weaponry.
Egyptian
Act
of God, Graham Philips, Arrow
Events in Egypt that led to the Exodus.
The
Giza Power Plant, Christopher Dunn, Bear and Co.
This book is only just out, written by an engineer, and you really must
read it if you are at all interested in the pyramids.
The
Great Pyramid Decoded, Peter
Lemesurier, Element Books.
Very detailed information about the pyramid and information encoded
within its design.
Keeper
of Genesis, Bauval and Hancock, Pan
The pyramids and astronomy of Egypt and connections with a time around
10,500 BC.
The
Ancient Egyptian Pyramid Texts, Faulkener, Oxford Clarendon Press,
The complete pyramid texts, but as Robert Temple points out in 'The
Crystal Sun', they are not in the correct order. The numbering of the
sayings was not done by the Egyptians. They are interesting and strange.
Jewish
History and Translations
The
Sign and the Seal, Graham
Hancock, Mandarin.
This book
is about the Ark of the Covenant and how it got to Ethiopia. Also information
about the Knights Templars in Ethiopia.
It was this book that led me to Enoch's book. http://www.grahamhancock.com/
The
Legends of the Jews, Vol 1 Creation to Jacob, Louis Ginsberg, Johns
Hopkins University Press,
This is a good compilation of stories that elaborate the bible stories
with extra detail. This edition covers Enoch the Angels and Noah plus
a lot of other interesting stories.
Sefer
Yetzirah - The Book of Creation, Aryeh Kaplan, Jason Aronson Inc,
This book is supposed to be by Abraham and is only about 1,000 words
long but it takes 300 pages to explain it. This book is the basis of
the kabbalah and the link between Hebrew and magic and meditation and
the explanations are detailed and complete.
Sepher
Rezial Hemelach - The Book of the Angel Rezial, Steve Savedow,Samuel
Weiser Inc,
This is a book of magic spells given to Adam by an Angel. Not as interesting
as the Sefer Yetzirah, but if you own it, they say it will protect your
home from fire!
The
Comprehensive Hebrew Calendar, Athur Spier, Feldheim Publishers,
Allows you to convert dates between 1900 AD and 2100 AD (5660 and 5860).
Early
Christianity
The
Gospel of the Essenes, Edmond
Bordeaux Szekely, The C.W. Daniel Company Limited.
This book
includes the version of Revelation that I have referred to on this site.
Dead
Sea Scrolls Uncovered, Eisenman and Wise, Penguin Books,
Translations and notes.
The
Dead Sea Scrolls and the First Christians, Robert Eisenman, Element,
A large collection of writings about the early Christian era by Professor
Eisenman including translations of Qumran texts.
.The
Lost Books of the Bible, Testament Books,
A collection of translations of apocryphal Bible texts.
Jesus of the Apocalypse, Barbara
Thiering, Corgi Books.
A translation
of the pesher code that is within the Biblical Book of Revelation, plus
a great deal of historical research into the background of Jesus and
Christianity.
The
Book that Jesus Wrote, Barbara Thiering, Corgi Books.
Very interesting details about the early Christians
and evidence that Jesus co-authored some of the gospels.
Bible
Code
The
Bible Code, Michael
Drosnin, Weidenfeld and Nicolson.
All the details
of work done on the code up to 1997, plus other relevant research and
notes. See also 3code.htm
The
Bible Code 2 - The Countdown, Michael Drosnin, Weidenfeld and Nicolson.
Michael Drosnin's second book concentrates on the events leading up
to the nuclear attack in 2006. He found that Sharon, Arafat and Bush
were all encoded together with "End of Days" - so he tried
to convince those people that they must make peace. Arafat was the only
one who believed it and he was not in a position to do very much. Drosnin
visited Arafat just before the Israelis destroyed his compound. The
codes predict that Arafat will be killed by Hamas and not by Israel.
I definitely recommend
you read this book! dros2.htm
The
Future Prospects for the World According to the Bible Code, Joseph
Noah, New Paradigm Books.
This book is new and it investigates codes that provide details of the
events described in the Biblical book of Revelation. There are also
codes about the Koran and the Vedas, reincarnation, and even codes about
the codes. All very interesting, see also codes2.htm.
The
Truth Behind The Bible Code, Dr
Jeffrey Satinover, Sidgwick and Jackson.
A more detailed
look at the history of the Torah, and its decoding, but less detailed
about the content of the recent code findings. Worth reading if you
want deeper knowledge of the subject.
Who
Wrote the Bible Code?, Randall Ingermanson, WaterBrook Press
A good review of statistical methods for code finding.
Reincarnation
and Spirituality
Tranceformers:
Shamans of the 21st Century by John Jay Harper
This book is a good reference work since it covers just about all aspects
of spiritual matters and would be worth having just for the bibliography
which includes quite a few of the books on this page and a lot more
besides. Also well worth reading.
Journey
of Souls, Michael Newton, Llewellyn Publications.
This is based on hypnotherapy sessions and investigates previous lives
and the time between lives. There are things described here that I can
remember - but I didn't know where the memories came from until I read
this book.
Destiny
of Souls, Michael Newton, Llewellyn Publications.
A second book that goes into more detail and is well worth reading this
after reading the first book.
Secret
Societies
New
World Order, William T. Still, Huntington House Publishers,
You should definitely read this book. How America is secretly run by
Freemasons and has been from the start. How they caused the 1929 crash
and profited from it, controlled presidents and congress, etc, etc.
Nixon's plans for a military takeover of America and continuing plans
to change the constitution so a future dictatorship can be imposed.
The
Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, Baigent, Leigh and Lincoln, Arrow,
The secret history of Europe thanks to crusaders, Templars, Freemasons
and related secret societies.

to Egypt and the lost king-making ceremony; interesting.
Sacred
Treasure, Secret Power, Patton and Mackness, Pan Books,
The story of looted gold from the Jerusalem Temple some still hidden
in France and Switzerland and still being plotted over in France and
elsewhere.
UFO
You
Can't Tell the People, Georgina Bruni, Sidgwick and Jackson.
This is about the Rendlesham Forest incident involving landings next
to the USAF base and attempts to cover it up. Interesting and strange.
Dark
Object, Don Ledger and Chris Styles, Dell Publishing.
This is a very similar story to 'You can't tell the people' except it
was the US military in Canada that got probed by UFOs.
Alien
Dawn, Colin Wilson, Virgin Books
This is a useful book, the author was commissioned to write a book on
UFOs, so he bought about $2,000 worth of UFO books and used the more
sensible ones to write this book. Buying this book helps avoid spending
about $1,900 on silly books and wasting a lot of time trying to read
them.
The
Mothman Prophecies, John A. Keel, New English Library
An interesting book about strange events - it is more sensible than
the title might suggest.
Weird
Science
The
Hunt for Zero Point, Nick Cook, Century.
This is a serious book about secret military aircraft tests written
by Nick Cook who is a writer for Jane's Aircraft. It includes flying
saucers and antigravity research and secret German wartime experiments.
A lot here I hadn't heard about before and some good photos too.

book mainly consists of patents and writings by Tesla himself.

Study Bible, (New International Version), C.
C. Ryrie, Moody Press.
This is a
good edition for dates and maps.
The
New Jerusalem Bible, Readers Edition, Darton,
Longman+Todd.
This is a
good edition of the Bible for details of the meanings of Hebrew names.
The
Five Books of Moses, Everett
Fox, The Harvill Press.
This is a
very nice English version of the Torah that preserves the original forms
of Hebrew names and provides extensive footnotes.

Fiction
The
HAB Theory, Allan W. Eckert, iUniverse.com Inc A novel with a pole-shift
theme largely inspired by Hapgood's theories. It is well written and
thought-provoking and even though it was written a few years ago it
still seems up to date.
